Harold and Kumar go grocery shopping

You know how having a car makes it a lot easier to shop for groceries? Though it might not facilitate the shopping itself, or the spending of money, it definitely helps you get home with everything you need. So, this is my "car." It has one bum wheel and it's sometimes hard to steer, but I can't imagine lugging the goods down 23rd Street without it.

Living in Chicago requires the same sort of contraption...and I've been delaying the purchase of one (because I do have a car) for years now. My old roommate had one, and we named it the "Granny Cart" because of all the little bitties sporting it. The best part was that when my roommate's cart hit the cracks on the sidewalk, the force of her momentum sent her flying over the top of the cart. When it was empty, she just about landed inside. Grocery shopping and injuries - what a pair.

Granny cart is right on. I completely feel like a little old lady when I'm cruising down the sidewalk with this thing. I've never fallen into it, though...

i begged for a "granny cart" but was denied. Chat won the battle and now weekly grocery shopping doubles as my biceps (maybe triceps too?) workout. . . you'll be happy to know that Chat thought the bocce ball kit worthy of our closet, but apparently not a "granny cart". . . since so many people look in our closet anyway!

OMG, I can't wait to play bocce ball in the park! You do deserve a granny cart, but I'm so glad bocce made the closet cut.

maybe we could take the bocce ball kit to the park in the "granny cart". . . :)
